Teaching approach
Structured, and personal.
Every student receives an individual plan. These are the foundations I build on, whether the goal is an exam, a concert or simply playing for pleasure.
How it works
From first message to steady progress.
Say hello
Send an enquiry telling me about the student and what you would like to achieve.
First lesson
We meet, try some music together and talk through goals and experience.
Your plan
I put together a clear plan covering technique, theory, ear training and repertoire.
Steady progress
Regular lessons, practice guidance and performance opportunities along the way.
Common questions
Questions I hear most.
Do you teach in Persian?
Yes. I teach in both English and Persian (Farsi), so you can learn in whichever language you are most comfortable with.
Do I need a piano at home?
Regular practice matters, so you will need an instrument at home. A weighted-key digital piano is a good starting point if you do not have an acoustic. Ask me and I will help you choose.
What age can my child start?
Most children are ready from around 5 or 6. If your child is younger, get in touch and we can talk about whether it is the right time.
I have never played. Is it too late?
No. Many students start as adults. We begin with the basics and build up at a pace that suits you.
How long are lessons and what do they cost?
Lessons are available in 30, 45 and 60-minute lengths, depending on age and level. Send an enquiry and I will reply with current prices.
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons are in person at my studio at 213/121 Rosslyn St, West Melbourne VIC 3003. Send an enquiry to arrange a time; scheduling is flexible, subject to availability.
Ready to find your musical voice?
Tell me about the student and what you would like to achieve. I reply within a day or two.
